This session is suitable for those who wish to learn more about stress management at work, how to differentiate between helpful and unhelpful forms of stress and learn to identify their own personal work based sources of stress and triggers. Aims An opportunity to learn more about what happens in the body when we are stressed and the common symptoms that can occur. Time to think about and focus on relationships at work and how we might navigate those when they too become a source of stress |

An Elderly Person in your life! An opportunity for individuals to explore positive approaches to preparing for and responding to the unexpected changes & challenges that occur as they include the increasing needs of an elderly person into your lifestyle. This includes those elderly people who are independent as well as those with specific needs. Workshops to help you prepare Participants prepare for the future and respond to current challenges through informal networking and input from our experienced facilitators. The materials are delivered over 3 x 1-hour sessions:
All participants receive a pack with key information to improve their links to the elderly person. Focus on you and your wellbeing Caring4Elders participants confirm the value of time to reflect on their approach to incorporating the practical and emotional changes that occur as an elderly person becomes less independent. Participants have all asked for more time to continue the network at the end of the workshops which have been offered in the East of England since 2017 12:00 Venue open 12:15 Workshop commence 13:15 Workshop finish 13:15 - 14:00 Time for informal questions and discussion PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO ATTEND ALL THREE SESSIONS |

This session will give an overview of recruitment best practice and how to attract a more diverse range of applicants. We will look at how to write an advert, further information documents, shortlisting and interview processes. There will be discussion around best practice in inclusive induction and probation processes. |
