Introduction to Metabolomics - Data Clinic (IN-PERSON)
Special

Thu 20 Jun 2024

Description

This optional extra data clinic builds on what we learned in the main event on 18-19 June.
There are two ways in which you can use this morning session:

  • Bring your own data: implement the skills and concepts that you have learned during the previous days to your own data. The trainers will be available to give you one-to-one support and advice. We recommend using your own laptop (we can also help with software installation), however you can also use the computers in the room.
  • Experimental design: if you are planning a metabolomics experiment, you can get advice on which technology may be most appropriate for your questions and any other considerations to take into account in planning your experiment.

We aim to provide one-to-one support for at least 45 minutes to each participant. As we have a limited number of trainers available, the number of places are also limited. Please add yourself the the waiting list if this session is fully booked, as that will ensure you get a place if there are last-minute cancellations.

For those interested, and if time allows, we may also include an optional tour of a metabolomics lab in one of the local departments.

If you do not have a University of Cambridge Raven account please book or register your interest here.
