New training arrangements during the Coronavirus Crisis
CamSIS is Cambridge’s system for handling student information, records and transactions, from initial contact and application all the way through to graduation.
While classroom sessions are currently suspended, we can instead offer online training sessions, including Introduction to CamSIS and CamSIS Search.

Demonstration and discussion of the new Academic Structure that is scheduled to go live in CamSIS in February 2018. The Academic Structure is the way that students and their qualifications and courses are categorised in CamSIS.
Aimed at those intending to use CamTools to support teaching and learning, this short course will offer you hands-on experience of running a course site. You will practice sharing documents with students, creating events to which students can subscribe, setting up forums, creating assignments and more.
CamTools is an online system used to create sites to support teaching, research, and collaboration. Within a CamTools site academics, students, administrators and guests can use a collection of online tools to collaborate, communicate and share resources.
Aimed at those looking for a general introduction to the system, this course covers all basic functions of CamTools and offers hands-on experience of running a site as an administrator. You will practice working with the most useful tools (uploading documents, updating a calendar, posting announcements etc), and managing a site (adding site members, creating groups etc). By the end of the course you will have developed a fully functioning CamTools site, populated with a standard set of tools.
Delegates will learn how to use shortcuts in Excel to improve their productivity, and also techniques for analysing complex data quickly by using pivot tables.
