* As deputy head of the Science and Innovation Network (SIN), Dr Hennessey works with over 90 officers in 31 countries, building partnerships and collaborations with the UK. As well as dealing with the challenges of multiple time zones, many nationalities (and even more personalities!), Dr Hennessey is part of a leadership structure that includes two Whitehall departments, over 30 embassies, High Commissions and Consulates, several Chief Scientific Advisers and numerous policy leads. She will share some of what she has learnt about leading (and being led) in this complex, but exciting, environment.
