Cambridge Open Research Conference 2023 (in-person) [Places] 09:00 - 18:00 Downing College, Howard Building

For the past few years, Cambridge University Libraries have hosted an annual conference focusing on Open Research at Cambridge. This year, we're pleased to be holding a day-long, hybrid conference at Downing College on Friday 17 November 2023, with the theme of Open Research for Inclusion: Spotlighting Different Voices in Open Research at Cambridge.

This conference will focus on areas of Open Research in under-represented disciplines and contexts which have been at the forefront of recent discussions in Cambridge. These include Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums), and research from and about the Global South.

We'll be exploring these topics with individual speakers, panels and a workshop. The full programme and further information can be found on our events page.

The day will feature refreshments, lunch and a drinks reception.

Note: This will be a hybrid event with places for people to attend in person or online. See joining instructions in the booking confirmation email for venue information. Our panel sessions will be interactive, and based on some of your questions, so keep an eye out for a survey that we will send about this closer to the conference.

Only register here if you are able to attend in person; otherwise, register for the online version.
