This structured course will help you to fulfil your responsibilities to students with Specific Learning Difficulties and provide effective practical support required in terms of policy and accessing formal support. The course will focus on dyslexia, dyspraxia and dysgraphia. Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties: Identification and Diagnosis (Briefing) is a useful precursor to this workshop, as it will not cover diagnosis or identification of specific learning difficulties. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. |

The aim of this course is to help those involved with recruitment and selection to navigate the rules which regulate the recruitment of individuals who are subject to immigration control, whilst ensuring full compliance. It will outline the key requirements in advertising, selection, pre-employment checks and the responsibilities throughout employment that the University is legally bound to observe. |
