Description

This 60 minute, instructor-led session will show you the applications section of the Funding Management Portal, how you can see admissions applications of applicants that are eligible for your fund, how to add them to your Master Consideration List, how to make shortlists and other associated functionality, including sharing shortlists with an assessor.

Prerequisites

Before attending this training, we suggest you to attend the Module 2 of the training - Finding and Shortlisting Applications

Objectives
  • To show and train users how to use the applications section of the FMP
  • To show users the longlist, and how submitted admissions applications are pulled through from GAP
  • To show users how to filter, search and view the information of an applicant's admissions application
  • To show users how to save eligible candidates to a Master Consideration List for further consideration or as "do not consider further"
  • To show users how to shortlist applications and share shortlists with assessors
  • To show users how to view assessments and mark applicants with flags for recommendations
  • To give an opportunity to ask questions relating to specific funds and offer further 1-2-1 support

System requirements

A Microsoft Teams link will be sent to administrators booked onto the course by email ahead of the course date.

You must have the following items installed or available on your computer to participate:

1. The Teams desktop app installed on your computer.

2. You will also need a working webcam, speakers (or headset) and mic.

Note: This training does not require you to log on to the FMP at the time of delivery. However, you need to be connected to the Cambridge University network to access the FMP when you wish to use it later. If you are working in the office and connected directly to the Cambridge University, your access will be automatically validated. If you are working from a remote location (including from home), you will need to connect via the UIS VPN service.
