Adolescence is a period of life hallmarked by change: changes to hormones and the body, changes in the social environment, and changes to the brain and the mind. Many mental illnesses first appear during adolescence, and there are gender differences in terms of prevalence and onset of mental health problems. What is it about adolescence that increases vulnerability to mental health problems, and what underlies the gender differences?
Sarah-Jayne Blakemore FBA FMedSci FRS is a Professor of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge, where she leads the Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Group. Her research explores the development of social cognition and decision-making in adolescence, and adolescent mental health.

Yoga with Daisy Worzencraft is primarily about having fun, giving things a go, and trying - with a sense of humour and a smile on your face! It's a non competitive practice, with modifications for different levels. All she asks is that you try, and that you practice with a sense of pleasure and enjoyment, rather than expectation, frustration and tension.
For Daisy, Yoga has been a consistent friend in her life - especially in times of need - and had nothing to do with perfecting poses!
