CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace Prerequisites£
This Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) course will benefit anyone in a work environment and is designed to provide candidates with an understanding of health and safety requirements placed on employers and employees. If you require training before the next planned course please contact the course leader as it may be possible to arrange some training earlier if there is enough demand.
Please note that a minimum of 6 attendees are needed for this course.

Presentations and exercises
The exam that concludes the course is a written multiple choice paper. A good understanding of spoken English is essential. In certain circumstances eg where English is not the first language or the student has difficulty with reading etc the trainer can obtain exam papers in other languages or arrange for the exam to be given to the student verbally. This must be discussed with the trainer prior to booking to enable them to order appropriate exam papers and arrange additional support.
- Payment is required before an event. Bookings are approved subject to payment being received prior to this training.
- University staff are charged a nominal fee of £30 for certification with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health but please select full charging rate.

Candidates must bring their University Card or another form of photo ID with them on the day in order to be able to attend the course
