Bridging the gap from research to practice: Writing to Engage Series - Writing for the Media

Wed 9 Jun 2021

This course will explain how best to communicate your research through print and online media. It will explain the difference between news, features and comment articles, how to choose (and pitch to) publications relevant to your specialty, and how to write the commissioned article in appropriate language. During the interactive session, you will work in groups to pitch an article relevant to some of your research.

Part of the Writing to Engage Series with Matt Warren, Deputy Editor of The Conversation (UK)
