Bridging the gap from research to practice Programme - Intrinsic Motivation: The Joy of the Blank Screen
New

Mon 16 Nov 2020

Description

It's hard to maintain self-motivation during a long period of study, in particular a doctorate. Harder still in self-isolation. Abigail Docherty explores how we can we reconnect with our natural intrinsic motivation and find reward and nourishment within the habits and practices of our critical enquiry?

In this session, you will look at simple ways to motivate your own research and writing-practice-in-isolation by reflecting on the principles of intrinsic motivation as methodology (creative theory) and mind-mapping.

This live training session sits within an online programme supporting PPD skills for postgraduates: http://ppd4phd.com/
