Want to practice giving Teams Live Events? Then join us in this informal introductory session to manage and deliver a webinar. The maximum number of participants for this course is limited to 4. You must have Teams installed on your computer to participate. You will need a working webcam, speakers (or headset) and mic.

You will:

  • Learn about Teams Live Events
  • Practice delivering a Live Event, please have a short PowerPoint and one other application ready to demonstrate.

Need to present meetings or teach using Teams? Then join us in this friendly hand on session to learn how to get up and running. You will have the opportunity to practice managing a meeting.

The course is taught using Microsoft Teams and you must have Teams installed on your computer to participate. If you are not using Outlook or Exchange Online for your email, please contact the instructor to discuss the implications for this course.

You will:

  • Understand the various ways of meeting with colleagues
  • Create a meeting for yourself or on behalf of others
  • Give and take control of participants' desktops
  • Practice managing your content when leading a meeting or teaching online

  • Gain an insight into what is possible through tabs
  • Practice using applications that you need to work with i.e. OneNote, Wiki, Planner, Forms.

This course is designed for Training Administrators of a new provider on the University Training Booking System (UTBS) and it will take them through theory and practicals on how to administer their training programme on the UTBS. The course is taught using Microsoft Teams and you must have Teams installed on your computer to participate.

New to online collaboration? This course aims to take the mystery out of managing your files online, syncing these to your computer and introduces a few useful functions that you may not have discovered.

Please note that the course is taught using Microsoft Teams and you must have Teams installed on your computer to participate.

You will:

  • Get to grips with various online file management techniques
  • Use the assistive technologies within Teams
  • Gain a few tips to speed your work

This one hour workshop is for people who are either new to an Office application or for more experienced users who wonder if there is a better approach to how they are currently completing their work. We don't promise solutions for every problem but we will work with you using your files to explore if we can suggest a more efficient way to achieve results.
