Eligibility Criteria

The Department of Physics - Health & Safety programme provides training opportunities for members of the Cavendish Laboratory (the Department). Our courses are open to other people visiting us for the purpose of work, study or use of facilities (e.g. X-ray equipment). Occasionally sessions are opened to other departments if the course is relevant to others and we have spare space.

In some instances we may be able to open sessions to other departments of the University of Cambridge. This will be stated on specific courses, particularly those relating to wellbeing.

The course descriptions clearly state in the 'target audience' section who is eligible to attend each course. Please ensure you read this information and adhere to the eligibility criteria.

We reserve the right to cancel any ineligible bookings as necessary and will let you know of cancellations.
