Objectives

Understand what Researcher Leadership is. Understand the expectations of you as an independent research leader. Consider the effective characteristics and behaviours of independent research leaders. Explore and apply leadership methods to discover your own preferences and natural talents. Understand how resilience can be increased to self-lead and support during the research experience. Use provided, proven techniques to help develop your awareness of how to build and support an effective team and what leadership can mean to you.
