After the training session you will be enrolled onto the quiz and emailed a link. If necessary revise and complete the quiz. There are 10 questions of which you need to get 8 correct. If you fail the quiz you need to email hstraining@phy.cam.ac.uk. You will then be asked to revise and be given another attempt at completing the quiz.
The briefing will be held in Ryle Seminar Room (Room 930), in the Rutherford Building, Department of Physics.
Participation at the University of Cambridge Safety Office X-Ray Generators and Other Equipment Generating Ionising Radiations is an alternative and will provide exemption from this session. Evidence of other similar trainings will also be considered - please contact Physics Health and Safety Office (hstraining@cam.ac.uk; 01223 337421).
One session of one hour approximately
Twice a term (more sessions will be set up if there is sufficient demand).
