Description

This is a half-day session led by Neurobox's Alexa Smith.

Neurobox is a leading workplace adjustments and training provider in Cambridge.

This is an awareness session designed specifically for managers to support understanding, awareness, and inclusion of neurodiversity (and/or disability) and an exploration of the challenges they might encounter in the workplace.

As part of our approach, we take the time to understand your organisation's unique working environments and the existing systems and resources you have in place.

Typical sessions might include topics around:

‘What is neurodiversity and why it matters’.

Language

An in-depth look into some neuro-differences, – including strengths, challenges, and how to support.

Workplace Assessments, Adjustments, and the Equality Act.

Managing Challenges – scenarios and case studies

Target audience

Please note this session is for staff members at the Department of Engineering only. This session is designed for line managers, supervisors, PI's, coaches, and mentors.
