Two RDC sessions for 1st year PhD students (Division D), Department of Engineering. Find out how to create eye-catching and effective conference posters to illustrate your research. The first session will cover: Why conference posters?, Design principles, Readability and layout, Planning and editing your poster. Please bring paper and pen/pencil with you to the session. In the second session students will show and discuss posters-in-progress based on their PhD work. Slides from the session will be made available on Moodle. These sessions will take place in the Civil Engineering building. |

It will also offer 'good advice' on what you should (and should not) do. |
