Student Guide to Zoom

With our move to online classes, we thought that an introduction to Zoom was in order! Thank you for taking your class with us via Zoom. Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool with a local, desktop client and a mobile app that allows users to meet online, with or without video.

Participants of this course can request permission to record the sessions, but the final agreement would be a group discussion given the fact that we are dealing with privacy protection policy.

If you choose to be part of the class you can collaborate on Spanish projects, and share or annotate on one another’s screens, all with one easy-to-use platform.

Alongside the content of this course, homework, resources, and any other type of support will still be placed as usual on our Moodle page.

Please note that even though we are moving to online instruction, the classroom policies of both the University and CLIC - Engineering Department still apply. Please make sure to act appropriately as you do in normal face to face classes and remember to limit external noises or distractions. If you have any questions at any point, please do not hesitate to contact us.
