Apprenticeship Webinar

Description

A webinar providing information on the following apprenticeships:

  • Business Administration Level 3
  • Customer Service Level 2 & 3
  • Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3
  • Manager Level 5

The webinar will be presented by Phil Stittle of West Suffolk College, who will deliver these apprenticeships. The webinar will be repeated and to assist with accessibility the webinars are being held on two video conferencing platforms, Zoom and MS Teams, on the following dates:

Thursday 16th April 2pm – 3pm via Teams

Tuesday 5th May 2pm - 3:15pm via Zoom. (Rescheduled from Thursday 23rd April 2pm – 3pm)

A link to the webinar will be sent with the joining instructions when your booking is confirmed.

The purpose of the webinar is to provide you with an overview of these programmes, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions.

Notes

To be eligible for a place on the Apprenticeship Programme applicants must be:

  • a University employee with a minimum fixed term contract of 15 months (for apprenticeships with a 12 month duration) Apprenticeships can be between 1-4yrs, your contract will have to cover the duration of the apprenticeship you choose.
  • working in a role that enables the learning to be put into practice
  • supported by a manager

UK and EEA citizens are eligible for funding if they are a citizen of the UK or a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) and have been ordinarily resident in the for at least the previous three years on the first day of the apprenticeship.

Non-EEA citizens are eligible for funding if they have permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes), and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship.

In addition, the individual and manager must commit to 20% off the job training and development.
