Description

Communicating your research in an engaging and easily understood manner is important for any audience and all the more so for non-academic audiences. This workshop will take you through the art and science of engaging communication, and outline the opportunities and support within the University for public engagement.

The session will run roughly as follows:

  • Opportunities and support within the University

About the Trainers

This workshop will be run by Sarah Cruise (Communication Skills Consultant at Eloquential) and Dr Lucinda Spokes (Head of Public Engagement, University of Cambridge). Together they have been running public engagement training within the university for many years.
