As of March 2020, booking onto this course can only be done through your department Key Contact
This course teaches users how to request goods/services required for their role using the UFS iProcurement module.
Speak to your Key Contact if you need access to iProcurement in UFS
- They will discuss whether online or classroom course is most appropriate for you
- They will confirm the level of access which you will require
- The course booking request will be made by them via the UFS responsibility access form
Once this request has been submitted by your Key Contact, you should receive an email within 1-2 working days with either:
- your allocated training username and passphrase (for online courses) or
- your joining instructions (classroom courses).
Individuals wishing to use the iProcurement system
It will benefit you when taking the course to ensure that you are familiar with the General Ledger and/or Grant Codes that you will be using, your accounts office should be able to advise you.
- Set up user defaults
- Create requisitions
- Approve or forward requisitions
- Deal with requisitions sent to you
- To receipt on the system
To provide users with sufficient knowledge to purchase items correctly using the iProcurement system
Interactive demonstrations in the learning environment and a final consolidation exercise in CUFS Play. At the end of the training you submit the requisition number/s that you have raised.
The course manual is available for reference. This course is mandatory if you require iProcurement Buyer responsibility.
